Studying the word, growing in faith, and navigating life together
"...it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught."
Luke 1:3-4
The gospel of Luke grants a detailed survey of Jesus' ministry from a historian of the highest degree, especially useful for times like this, where so much seems to be cause for confusion. As Luke opens his gospel account with the above encouragement, our meetings are a time to benefit one another through further study and discussion of God's word; they are another means of grace so that we may not be confused, but have certainty in the things we believe.
We chose this book of God's word as a companion to the Sunday sermon series from Acts, but each lesson has offered something unique as we work through it passage by passage. Tuesday gatherings may be filled with times of meditation and discussion on the doctrine of Christ, or sharing of personal experiences to better understand and minister to one another as we consider how to apply the lessons practically. Our gatherings usually end with corporate worship to help us take these wonderful truths with us through song.
We meet twice a month for fellowship, meals, and Bible study.
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
